The BABY born Lunch Time Table (fits dolls up to 43cm) was an instant hit with our testers, who were super excited to explore it. After a quick adult setup, including inserting batteries, the children confidently took over and dived straight into imaginative play.
They were entertained by the interactive sounds, especially the baby saying “yuck” when fed something it didn’t like, which sparked lots of laughter. Children spoke about the different foods that are included in the set, and enjoyed choosing their favourites, which encouraged conversation, role play and sharing.
Others enjoyed exploring the food accessories in different ways, sorting them into food types or using them as props for their own stories. Feeding the baby with the interactive spoon and hearing realistic eating sounds kept them engaged for long periods of time.
A lovely toy for encouraging imaginative play and communication, while also providing a great opportunity to introduce food vocabulary and spark conversations about healthy eating.
- Useful for starting conversations about healthy eating.
- Encourages imaginative play.
- Promotes empathy and nurturing behaviour.
