What our experts think

MagiCoders Coding Critters engage children in early coding, by introducing them to creating and copying patterns and logical sequences for a unicorn or dragon robot to follow. As children put the symbols in the correct order to cast a magic spell, they are learning the fundamentals of programming code.

A great way to engage younger children in STEM learning is by combining it with imaginative play and the Coding Critters allow children to develop their directional vocabulary, visual thinking and problem-solving skills as they work out how to make their critter light up, speak, dance and move. Persevering and seeing the successful results of their actions caused much excitement and a great sense of achievement!
