What our experts think
This well-made, colourful, wooden toy is robust and very easy to set up; it can be wall mounted or stood on the wooden legs provided. Children enjoyed watching the dominos fall in sequence and the sound of the wood clacking together. The older testers worked out that they had to pull the toggles to make the dominos pop back up and happily showed the younger children, who were unsure, what to do, giving them a real sense of achievement.
This toy also helps children to develop their fine motor skills and learn about cause and effect. And as the children stood the dominoes upright, they practiced their counting skills and talked about the different colours. This simple toy engaged our testers and offered a mixture of learning opportunities.
