Recommended by Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide

"It's like Connect-4, but cooler since I can make skyscrapers." - Boy, aged 7

"She only beat me because she's really good with shapes and patterns and this is a very logical game." - Boy, aged 12, explaining to his mum why his younger sister beat him.
Our testers were keen to get started with Foros and quickly picked up the rules after a short demonstration. The children enjoyed the different ways to play from the main challenge of connecting four blocks in a row, to solving puzzles, or even using the pieces to build their own creations. The high-quality wooden blocks were particularly appealing and inspired lots of collaborative play, with children taking turns, sharing ideas, and building together. Several compared the game to Connect 4 but said it was “even better” because of the different shaped blocks and multiple boards, which kept play fresh and engaging.

Parents appreciated the versatility of the set, noting that it worked well for both quick games and longer creative sessions. Alongside problem solving and logical thinking, the game encouraged fine motor skills, perseverance, and plenty of social interaction. A fun, versatile resource that blends strategy with creativity, offering strong play and learning value.
