What our experts think
This science set is great for engaging children in science as it makes their learning creative – encouraging them to carry out the experiments themselves. Our testers were excited to get started and we really enjoyed seeing them work together and communicate with minimal adult help.
We liked that the book explains exactly what is supposed to happen in the experiments, as sometimes the results did not go according to plan, and this enabled the children to try again and work out what went wrong. This kind of trial and error learning is great for developing important problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Our testers liked that the set included everything needed for the activities and they kept wanting to come back to it to conduct more experiments!
