Description
Our ‘Follow my Word’ and ‘Hills, River and Valley’ boards are ideal for sensory rooms. Following the lines, patterns and writing on the Glo board using the UV torch is a rewarding activity to develop fine motor skills, along with promoting letter recognition and formation.
Each item gives an instant visual identifier in darkness and recharges by exposure to the sun and ambient light. The Glo material is a safe non-toxic material which is CPSIA and REACH compliant.
The reverse side of the board has a dry wipe surface for extra versatility.

What our experts think
The Twoey Glow range encourages independent multi-sensory play and exploration in children, giving visual stimulation and feedback. One of our testers with a learning difficulty and vision impairment loved it when a word was written on the board and he was able to copy it with the glo pen. At times when children can get upset and frustrated, we found that the board can be used as a calming resource, giving them something to focus on, which helps encourage them to self-regulate.
Following the patterns on the board is great for helping children to develop their hand-eye coordination and pincer grip as they guide the pen. We found that our testers with more severe learning difficulties were often more engaged with the Over the Hills board with its wavy patterns, enjoying following the lines and making their own patterns.
