What our experts think
Robbie the Rabbit was a huge hit with our testers (he got lots of cuddles!) and really got children interested in learning about emotions. We loved the way children could identify the emotions by using the emotion teddies, which were great representations of happiness, sadness, etc. and really easy for little ones to understand. The stories were engaging and short enough to keep children’s attention with enough detail for children to start understanding emotions.
Learning about different emotions helps children begin to empathise with others and also identify their own emotions. These are important skills for things like making friends and for positive mental health and well-being.
