My Singing Monsters is a fun musical app where children can collect, breed and build their very own world full of singing monsters. Each monster makes a different sound, and as children add more, the game turns into a fun and lively song. Children start on Plant Island and can unlock more islands by earning coins from their monsters or completing daily tasks like hatching or breeding new ones.
Our testers really enjoyed dressing up their monsters and building up their main island with buildings and decorations. A favourite feature was Composer Island, where players become composers by arranging musical notes and customising their monsters’ songs. There are also extra games like spinning a prize wheel and a memory matching game, which rewards players with coins. It’s even possible to visit friends’ islands (using a code), but there’s no chat function, making it a safe social feature. Best of all, there are no pop-up ads, and it’s free to play – though there are some optional purchases. Overall, My Singing Monsters was found to be a creative and engaging app that children loved coming back to, full of music and fun.
