A delightful wooden toy that proved very popular with our little testers. The younger ones enjoyed refining their fine motor skills by putting the figures in the holes – there was a lot of repetition with this activity! The older ones loved making them ping out across the room…this produces a lot of giggles! It also teaches cause and effect – pushing down results in the figure popping up, which is useful for learning logic and strategy.
We liked that children could be encouraged to match colours when putting the figures in the correctly coloured holes. This promotes colour recognition and matching games develop concentration and early problem solving skills at this age. The toy appealed to a wide ranges of ages (older sibling really enjoyed playing with it too!) and is durable and well made.
