This super sparkly chemistry set will help children to explore and understand lots of different scientific concepts including diffusion, polymers and density.

All 10 experiments in the kit support National Curriculum learning whilst being safe, educational and fun! Kids can make glittery bath jellies via gellification; grow a sparkly crystal geode whilst learning about crystallisation; explore diffusion via the creation of a strawberry-scented fragrance jar; experiment with super absorbent polymers with a slime nightlight and make their own Mystic Ball whilst learning the concept of density.

The Ultimate Sparkle Science set from John Adams comes with clear instructions about how to conduct the experiments safely at home, as well as the method and science behind them. Please note that some activities require additional household ingredients (not included): vegetable oil, table salt, hair gel, washing up liquid.

Sparkle Science is a great way to build children’s confidence in conducting scientific experiments and also allows them to make visually appealing products. The shower jellies in particular were a big hit as they were both fun to make and use for bathing.

Sets that allow hands-on learning like this are fantastic for equipping children with skills such as measuring and mixing and help them to understand scientific concepts as they can see the reactions happening in real-time. While adult help is needed at times to help with things like measuring, there is plenty for children to take ownership of.
