It’s lovely to see a new twist on a classic toy, and we can see this being a particular hit with dinosaur lovers! Driving the trains around and slotting pieces together is good for encouraging hand-eye coordination and strengthening children’s grip, which is needed for holding a pencil to write. Large sets like this can get children playing together, developing their social skills.
The set is also great for imaginative play and creativity, with or without the train track. The toys are very versatile so can be used outdoors or in sandboxes for more play opportunities. Experimenting with the trains – pushing along different surfaces, and up or down angles – also helps children start to learn how things work in the world (e.g. forces).
