What our experts think
Disney Princess magazine provides great entertainment for children, as it includes a
variety of different activities and stories all based around their favourite characters.
The word tracing activities, number counting and dot to dots all help develop the
reader’s fine motor skills and pencil control, as well as enabling them to practice
their reading, writing and spelling. The stories and colouring pages allow children to
explore imaginative play and, as they talk about what is happening in the pictures
they colour, they are also able to build their vocabulary.
Younger children may need adult assistance to complete some of the activities in the
magazine, as they will need to be able to read to understand the instructions. Each
issue of the magazine comes with a lovely sticker sheet and Disney Princess themed
toy, which will appeal to children of all ages.
