What our experts think
Paw Patrol magazine provides great entertainment for children, as it includes a
range of different activities and stories all based around their favourite characters.
The tracing activities and mazes help children practise their fine motor skills and
pencil control, as well as enabling them to practice their reading, writing and
spelling. The stories and colouring pages allow children to explore imaginative play
and, as they talk about what is happening in the pictures they colour, they can build
their vocabulary.
Younger children will need adult assistance to complete some of the activities in the
magazine, as they will need to be able to read to understand the instructions.
However, the magazine does include simple images to help children who are
learning to read understand how to complete different tasks.
Each issue includes two stories, which are a lovely bonding activity for adult and
children to read together. The magazine also includes a lovely sticker sheet and fun
Paw Patrol toy, which are both popular with children of all ages
