What our testers said

It’s good you don’t have to build the whole thing at once. You can do little bits.” – Boy, aged 9.

“Oh, there’s a slide! Wheeee!” – Girl, aged 8.

What our experts think

The set was a big hit with our testers, girls and boys, encouraging pretend play and creativity. Some children followed the instructions step by step, while others, who found the instructions challenging, built parts in their own way or by using the picture on the box as a guide. As they built, children naturally began to role play, using the figures and structures to create their own stories. The bright colours and fun details kept them entertained for long periods of time, with many returning to play with the set repeatedly. Features like the pulley system and slide added extra excitement and made the play experience even more engaging.

Some children decided to incorporate characters and elements from other LEGO sets as they became immersed in their imaginative play. The set’s inclusivity was noted as children commented on details like a character with one arm and the dog with wheels instead of back legs. A lovely set that helps develop fine motor skills, storytelling and imagination.
