Description

This toy encourages children to explore cause-and-effect through engaging, hands-on play. As the ball rolls down the ramp, it can drop into either a colourful string bin or a translucent jug. To retrieve the sensory balls, children must navigate the stretchy strings, promoting the development of fine motor skills.

For an added sensory experience, swap the string bin for the jug and introduce water play. Using the handle, kids can create a swirling motion, making the water and balls spin for an interactive water play session. The ramp is designed for standalone tabletop use, providing versatile play options to keep little ones entertained.

Recommended by Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide, this toy offers a fun and stimulating way for children to develop key skills while enjoying sensory play.

What our testers said

“The balls went splash in the water!” – Boy aged 3

“I like the spiky balls.” – Girl aged 3

What our experts think

A great sensory toy, it has three ways to play which engages children and gives hours of fun; our testers thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. It’s very easy to set up and encourages independent play, but it’s also great for promoting turn taking and sharing if more than one child is playing.

It focuses on sensory exploration and developing fine motor skills. Problem solving and perseverance came into play as the children worked out how to remove the sensory balls from the string bin. They could also see cause and effect in action as they sent the balls down the ramp and into the bin or jug which can be filled with water. Our testers could also develop their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills as they played.
