9 cubes, 54 images, over 10 million possible combos, unlimited stories! How it works… Simply roll all 9 dice, examine each of the face-up images and let them guide your imagination through a story that begins with “Once upon a time…”. The secret is not to think too deeply. Simply ‘gulp’ in the images and start talking and remember, there is no wrong answer! The nine dice, each with a unique image on all six sides, hold a total of 54 images. Play them while travelling, waiting in a restaurant, in the classroom, as an icebreaker, for idea generation, or to make learning a new language more fun.

An excellent way to inspire storytelling and creativity. Rory’s Story Cubes are simple to use, so even young children can join in! They’re perfectly adaptable to the players too, as the stories can be as simple or as complex as the storyteller wants them to be.
As they invent new stories, children will be developing their verbal language skills and building their vocabulary. The open-ended nature of the game means there are no right or wrong answers, and no winners or losers, so children can learn and create without feeling under pressure.
