What our experts think
The Design and Drill Bold Buddies Crane was a “knockout” with our testers. Using a working drill to prepare their crane required teamwork, determination and perseverance, but once it was complete the pride was apparent and the
excitement was palpable. The open ended nature of this toy paved the way for dramatic play, and the room was filled with construction and vehicle noises as well as a few “Meows” from the included animal pal. The reusable box, which turned into a construction city, was a favourite feature among the parents, and was a great method to introduce recycling in a fun way. Repeat play as well as sustained attention was a common occurrence, and it was a joy to watch the
children return to the toy with such high enthusiasm (ideal for 3 and 4 year old children). In addition to having fun, while engaging with this toy children are able to strengthen their fine motor skills, foster their creativity, and sharpen their problem solving skills.
